Hiya, i thought i'd throw this poll open to you guys because we never came to a definate conclusion about this last year in Ollie's bar (was one of our highly intellectual conversations!). would like to see if the club could form a concensus on the matter and finally lay this eternal mind boggler to rest

I have to side with the baadger as its Britains largest native carnivore and there was that 1 in the news a couple of years ago that went nuts and ravaged some old people.

As usual Mr C Coates BSc, is the man in the know! Despite his confused apperance he is as sharp as a very sharp thing on animals particually.

Personally, I think it depends on the battleground.
If it were in a heavily wooded area, I think that the squirrels would have the advantage of the high ground, because they could clamber the surrounding trees and leap down in a tag-team formation upon the badger.
However, if the bout (presumably decided by pinfall or submission) were to take place in an open space (let us say, for argument's sake, a car park) then the badger would surely win with its sheer brutality and technical ability

I think however, that no matter what the terrain, the finishing maneuver of the "throat crush" from the badger is not easily recovered from, and if just one of the squirrels got caught off guard, its advantage would indeed be over.
